  This place is under new ownership and thank god! The last owner Bill was absolutely horrible and the food sucked. It is now family run! Real good Italian food! I have read some of the other reviews and I'm absolutely baffled. Some of these people must be friends with Bill. Romans Pizza is NOW HANDS DOWN THE BEST PIZZARIA IN JACKSON!!! They are still getting accustomed to the new area so be a little patient. You won't be sorry! The staff is super friendly as well which is a huge plus! Give them a try. You won't be sorry!!!

  If there was an option to give negative stars, I would. I have ALWAYS loved this place.. been going here since it was Romans' and loved it just as much when management took over. I have given this place business for years and am upset to announce that my husband received an oral infection from their unsanitary utensils. We dined here 4 consecutive nights and on the fifth noticed a sore on his upper lip. We consulted a dermatologist who confirmed it must've been a result of unsanitary utensils. When we contacted, now, Giuseppe's, the staff gave us an attitude and accused us of fabricating the story. I am sad to say our run here is over... I hope you all learn from our mistake eating here and giving this place business.

  I have really enjoyed the food since Roman's became Giuseppe's but it was a complete embarrassment for them tonight. I called and ordered two subs and was told 20-25 minutes. I showed up on time and walked into a room full of angry people waiting on their food. After 20 minutes of waiting (45 minutes since the order was placed) I was told for the first time that my food would be right up. Well I was told the same thing four more times over the next ten minutes at which point I asked for my money back. They said wait, I think it was just completed. Wrong!!!! Still no food, just an angry, formally loyal, customer.

  So here it is, another unfortunate! Food is good, very good. BUT, the delivery and service basically sucks wind. Great pizzas turned cardboard because the "children" who work there don't have a clue what they doing. It's a shame, sad to see another place bite the dust, because of incompetent service employees. I feel bad for the cook; works so hard on making great food only for it to turned into something I wouldn't give my big black lab. Come on owners/cooks, get some good service workers. Plenty of people looking for work; conduct interviews. Make sure they have some gray matter in their skulls.
  Meanwhile for now, need to find a good Italian Pizzeria Restaurant in the neighborhood!

  Honest to god i think they took this pizza out if the oven really early it just doesnt taste cooked through, when you put it in the oven the crust actually turns brown and keeps cooking, the dough was white and chewy. Pretty gross honestly. I could tell by the massive size of the menu that this would be a little suspect. I was right
